A few years ago, I became the personal representative in my grandmother’s estate. I found the process more than a little daunting. I wish that there had been someone to help with the process and offer solutions! It was a stressful time, and I learned a great deal in the process.

Homes often require preparation for sale, including making major and minor repairs, assisting in the sale and donation of personal property, staging the property for sale, and resolving title issues before the home is listed. Homes sell quickly and for top dollar when they are priced right and are appealing to a buyer. In certain circumstances speed may be the highest priority and in those cases the property is sold “as-is” to a cash buyer.

I have successfully built a specialized Consulting and Real Estate business that leverages my 25 years as a CPA and 6 years as a Realtor®. I delight in helping people transition to a new chapter in their lives by selling their existing property, locating their new home, helping to navigate the probate process, and working with investors who pay cash for properties. I have noticed specifically that probate homes listed on the market often sell for less or take longer to sell because they are not appropriately prepared prior to sale.
